TAPLINE · PROFESSIONAL BROWSER TOOL

The taps may add up. The far-end voltage still has to arrive.

Place 70V/100V loudspeaker taps along a run and solve segment current, node voltage, delivered power, cable loss, and amplifier headroom with round-trip copper resistance and transformer impedance.

Each tap is modeled as a resistive impedance at nominal voltage using copper DC resistance. Transformer loss, frequency, temperature, terminations, fire code, cable rules, and amplifier limits still govern installation.
